The WA Industrial Relations Commission today issued a decision increasing the WA Minimum Wage by 2.1%. This means that the WA Minimum Wage will increase by $14.00 per week from $665.90 per week to $679.90 per week from 1 July 2015. The increase will apply only to employees who are paid the award wage, as any wage paid above the award wage is able to be used to offset the increase. The increase applies to employees and employers who are in the WA industrial relations system. This is mainly businesses which are not companies and WA public servants.
